"Far-leftism" and "Trotskism" are standpoints of many in "radical" groups which are scattered throughout the left, including the SSP, SWP, CWI, and Solidarity to name but a few. What is meant by these "isms"? Are there patterns of dogma and behaviour which lurk behind the many slogans? Why is sectarianism seemingly always at work within these groups? Can these many sects of "Ultra-leftism" ever work constructively with others? Amongst the many questions covered are ones which we should all honestly ask of our organisations, including the Communist Party.
