A FUTURE TO FIGHT FOR

Peace, Public Ownership and Trade Union Freedom

Current New labour policies are massively unpopular. Over four-fifths of the electorate oppose further privatisation in health and education. A similar number want transport back in public ownership. Over two thirds of Scots voters oppose the renewal of the Trident nuclear missile system and even more want troops withdrawn from Iraq and Afghanistan.

the reality is now clear. If the Labour Party in Scotland does not change course and adopt the progressive policies advocated by the trade union movement, it will face serious electoral consequences.
