Mick McGahey, a miner and son of Mick McGahey Vice-President of the National Union of Mineworkers, who himself was a life-long Communist.

Much nonescence has appeared in the big business press and even some left blogs at this 25th anniversary of the great Miner's Strike. Mick McGahey puts the record straight.

Mr McGahey also congratulates The Morning Star newspaper as the one real media voice that put the case of the miners against the hated tory governement who spent £6 billion crushing these vanguards of the British working class.
